ABSTRACT
This Special Session represents an interesting opportunity for metrologists and researchers from transportation and automotive fields to share their latest knowledge and developments on metrology for environmental perception sensors and systems in intelligent transportation & vehicles.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS
Lei Du received the Ph.D. degree in signal and information processing from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2010. He was a post-doctoral research fellow with National Institute of Metrology (NIM), Beijing, China, from 2010 to 2012. He has been with the Division of Mechanics and Acoustics Metrology, NIM, Beijing, China, since 2012, where he has been involved in traffic speed measurement research. His current research interests include kinematics parameters measurement, environmental perception technology in intelligent transportation and intelligent vehicles, radar signal processing, etc.
Qiao Sun received the Ph.D. degree in control science and engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Beijing, China, in 2015. He has been with the Division of Mechanics and Acoustics Metrology, National Institute of Metrology (NIM), Beijing, China, since 2002, where he has been involved in traffic speed measurement research. His current research interests include kinematics parameters measurement such as traffic speed, acceleration in vibration and shock, rotational speed, etc.
Yulin Chen received the Ph.D. degree in precision instruments and machinery from the School of Instrumentation Science and Optoelectronics Engineering, Beihang University, Beijing, China, in 2022. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow with National Institute of Metrology (NIM), Beijing, China. His research interests include advanced control of magnetic bearing system and environmental perception calibration system.
